Have to agree, if we somehow got anything out of this, it would only paper over obvious cracks...this obvious problem now needs addressing
Ross has to gan after this this against a team who lost 6-0 2 weeks ago, we are pathetic and no more 29,000 at our stadium now, i hope these owners come in soon or we are wrecked. I reckon them players on international duty are saving themselves. As soon as a team sees these cannot bottle it it is so easy, would nigel clough come here ? this is the worst i have ever felt as a Sunderland supporter in 40 years, how low will these sink ?
Think that’s what I meant. Us fans don’t deserve it. Wasn’t meant to have a dig. But I certainly wouldn’t sign for him.
That's what I don't get, the same problems persist and the same JR excuses get wheeled out match after match after match. I fully accept a bloke like him will understand the game to a far, far better extent than I ever will, but is he really seeing the same match / things that we think we see?
The worst thing is mate I was saying to myself why the f uck am I ticking away win I should just stick to realising it’s Sunderland who I support.
Just don't get it... only good thing that can come out of this result is getting rid of Ross. Will the owners have the bollocks to do it?
For me the main problem is that the squad isn't promotion quality and not that it's all the manager's fault on the pitch although no doubt he could be doing better. Maybe it would be best if he went though, safe to say that opinion is against him now. Dunno who we'd realistically get to get this bunch up the league, apart from Allardyce I've not seen any convincing suggestions. Not sure it'd be the right time for him either being a dodgy **** and all.
Out lowest result since relegation- well beaten- wrong shape and tactics- fact is we aspire to be in top2 but have not once occupied promotion spots so we have no chance going up - lincoln city well done-
Be a bitter pillow to swallow given how many years I've spent wanting to push his face in but yeah objectively he'd be one to consider.
Not if the takeover is close to completion unless they're planning on sticking in a caretaker from the backroom
Say if it's a done deal though as we all presume could they not just appoint a new one? If SD is meant to be staying on as well? Or wonder if this hold up is that they don't want him to stay on and if that's the case probably stuck with Ross till the takeover is complete.
