I used to hand sew patches on to my Levi 501s in the seventies - maybe I could become a surgeon?
My mum maybe 79 but she's still a whizz with a needle!I’d trust you.

I can’t believe there were people in the audience actually applauding that. This paints a scary picture, for the future, if technology is reaching this level.

That is quite terrifying.

Spent most of yesterday in a local tattoo place and was chatting with my tattooist about politics, comparative religion, economics, football, music and even a bit of psychology. My guy there is a heavily tattooed ex-skinhead/death metal guitarist with about 12 teeth in total and is also a really intelligent, informed and well read guy and is a prime example of why we should never judge people by appearance or by what they do for a living.
So who is gearing up for Black Friday? Who is thinking of getting a new car at the "Black Friday" prices? I ask this question as I am currently teaching English to the director of used cars at a leading auto showroom (Mercedes) here in Palma de Mallorca. In order to improve his level of English, we look at footage on YouTube. Last week we looked at the 10 most popular cars - and we agreed we would not touch one with a barge pole. This week we looked at footage of the Jaguar I-Pace, and came away thinking it is in reality a Ford using the Jaguar brand to sell expensively. We have also looked at the "minis" and think, are they really minis these days? Good cars though.
The new Jags are not Fords. They stopped collaboration with them after Tata bought them.
