Surely we won't be paying his contract in full? If he has another club lined up, I would have thought that there would be some kind of mutual termination agreement whereby we pay 50% or something like.
We don't know...but got to be something like that and he is out of contract soon.

I trust Hoos on money side. I am sure economically it makes sense to get rid of a player 4th or 5th on the pecking order...(the 2 loans, Smith, Sylla and I hope Oteh). Who has been given endless chances...and who really wants to play regularly...and is not after just a pay off.

Got to say has to be the right move for him and us

Probably. Still a write off though. He always tried hard but was way out of his comfort zone at the bottom of the Championship.

Can play defender or DCM.
Good cover. I would think
More balanced squad...

The thing is Washington is not far away from a very good player...makes the space shows control but doesn't seem to find the finish...good luck to him though...never gives up

Tries hard, that’s the extent of it. Very limited player in my view and League 1 is his level.

Stoke fans don't seem to be happy about Cameron coming to us judging by the responses to this tweet ...

We certainly seem to have got good experience and quality will all 4 of the loan signings. Dark clouds lifting?

But we have to pay off the rest of his contract until June next year. If Conor gets another club he’s on double pay! Yay!
I certainly doubt that Stan as he has already joined Sheffield United.

I'm sure an amicable arrangement was made that suited the player & both clubs.

Good luck to Connor, he always gave 100% effort & that is far more than "better" players in our past gave!

Still no club wanting Sylla?

Makes the space - nope, running tirelessly is not the same as taking up decisive positions.
Shows control - nope, the fact that his first touch nearly always took him further away from the goal is at the heart of his problems.
Doesn't seem to find the finish - 14 goals in 98 starts makes this a huge understatement. Has there ever been an out-and-out QPR striker with a worst goals to games stat?

He's made a mistake if he's off to Sheffield. He can still shine in League 1 or 2 but the Championship was a step to far for him

Hopefully it was a case of no point in going out on loan, terminate for zero cost and let him sign on a permanent basis with Sheffield. Makes you wonder how league look at this as effectively circumventing the transfer window for permanent signings.

Is it sensible to trust Hoos on the money side? Hasn’t he been in situ (or at least part of it) whilst the club has spaffed millions on useless players and fallen foul of FFP?
