    It's not in line at all. It would be if English kids living in Scotland were charged to go to school. Tertiary education isn't a universal right. Foreigners pay more for some tertiary education in England than English kids do too.

    Border control is part of immigration, so no conflation here. She's proposing denying free access to what should be a basic right. If that's her view of foreigners' kids, what other otherwise free services would be a fee for only foreigners?

    Surely, if you want a truly intergrated society, free education has to be at the forefront of that?
    I also include free adult education in that statement.

    Okay, as you're determined to conflate them.

    If they move to France, and they have an option to become French citizens, they're no longer 'foreign' and get the education.

    If they don't want to be French, why should the French fund them?
