No. As I said in another post, gave it to my lad who was born earlier that year. Should have had it coated as the signatures faded and it looks in a rather sorry state.

Glad you could tell it was me by the description of the winner.<laugh>

They didn't look ****e. They stopped playing when they scored thinking the game was won.

They looked ****e when Ann Diamond came on and changed the game. He should have started and we all know it.

The game changed when they scored. They stopped playing and decided to defend their lead.

In that case they should have changed the game at 1-1 and scored again if all they had to do was decide how to play.

Last night was as bad as when Hateley was here. I couldn't stand to watch that **** then, but I did & it was the worst I've felt, now same feeling!

And Whitby at Scarborough. Hednesford at home. Countless Mike Smith ones, especially horrendous when you look at the players we had then. It was almost an act of genius to get such a bunch of players relegated twice.

So Phelan starts him next game. After all, we all know he should have started. How'd that work out?

I started following City in '85, didn't got to any games until '91 when I could drive, so started in the Dolan era of watching.
I'm not talking individual games as such I'm talking about the lack of anything to make me feel good about. Even the West Brom draw the other week, we almost threw it away at the end. The games are dismal & depressing like the Hateley era.
Nothing to get excited about, even when Hateley scored the penalty at Scarborough it covered over huge cracks, same with the goals we score this season. For me, the Leicester game was exciting, the Burnley game too, the Utd game was defensive but we looked alright doing it in that game. Last night was just nothing, a big **** off void of nothing. That's what makes it feel so bad.

Outside looking in. Think your being a bit harsh on your manager. Before you started the season didn't you have less than 14 first teamers available? and no money to spend?

Why would Phelan go away from home and play a positive and attacking way when you don't have the team available to do so. Surely it's all about picking up points wherever yo go?

You're gonna go down regardless but i don't think the manor your team has done so should be disappointment.

Better than last night. He also started Mason on the left last night after he was terrible against West Brom in that position. Henrikson did alright on the left against Newcastle but has been non existent in most other games. why not put him on the left again to see how he does?

Playing for a draw is a great way of securing a loss.

And we're all aware that Phelan's having to operate with his hands tied behind his back, but that's no excuse for taking a £12m central midfielder and sticking him on the left wing, where he's looked hopeless game after game, after game, after game...

When things aren't working he changes nothing, he just stands on the sidelines looking baffled.

You have nothing on the bench to suggest he isn't playing the best team possible. If you want your LM playing CM i understand that but if there is no one better to occupy the wing then what can you do?

The fans and club have the mentality that relegation will happen and its shown in the attendances and lack of money given for transfers so i think blame of the manager is unfair.

    No, it was last night.

You say it was obvious Diomande should be starting and that was our only problem against WBA. He started him last night and we were even worse. I'm not having a go at Diomande, I'm saying that this shows how Phelan just doing what people demand won't automatically fix things like they're convinced it will. If he goes 4-4-2 next game (no idea who the two would be, but anyway), plays Jak, moves Mason to the middle (again, no idea who plays left instead but whatever). If he does all these things and goes all-out attack, people are convinced that'll suddenly see us turn over superior sides but it really isn't that simple. If it was, managers wouldn't be well paid and in demand. Clubs would just have the chairman pick the team based on what fans want. The point is that these guys who know the game are a bit wiser and can see past the Football Manager-style "4-5-1 bad, 4-4-2 good" logic that exists on here.
