Well that goal makes me feel a little bit better about our terrible defending today. Awful from West Ham.

Results were okay bar Sunderland. Hopefully hammers get hammered.

I really hope the Premier League show some real bottle and do something about Dele Ali's dive yesterday. They won't, but it was a disgrace.

Seeing this comment made me look at it on youtube... disgraceful dive.

The PL can't do anything though as there's no rule for retrospective punishment for this. Said loads of times before that I would bring in an automatic 4/5 game ban for clear cases retrospectively. The managers would soon stop their players from doing it if they knew they could lose their best players for a period of time.

They can't issue a punishment under their rules, however they can come out and say "That is a cheating twat".. :) they won't, but they should. I could be their spokesperson.

Luiz should have been off in the first half as well yesterday IMO (I didn't see it until last night). On the other hand, Ant Taylor dealt with the brawl excellently...so did Fabregas by baiting Fernandinho. Outstanding WUMmery.

My initial, normal time thought was foul and red card. The replay made me think twice and perhaps that what Taylor did. He put his whistle to his mouth, then changed his mind.

Strictly speaking, Fabregas should have had a red too, as he slapped Fernandinho's face out of the ref's sight which led to Fernandinho losing it completely. Hopefully some retrospective action for him.

Cesc didn't cover himself in glory at all. The sly slap, the carefully backing off the irate Ferdy, then the glance at the hoarding before cowardly slipping away. Oh my god, if you can handle the heat, don't start the fire.
