I support Jakupovic as much as I ever did. I'm delighted that he's played a big part in our victory tonight. Obviously it doesn't mean he's suddenly a better goalie. How can someone drop down the pecking order while being rested? Jak's performances will put pressure on Marshall to continue performing which can only be a good thing. If Marshall stops performing he'll be dropped, but it's very unlikely to happen before that just because the backup has had a good game while the 1st choice was rested.

What isn't going to be helpful, is fans moaning when Jak inevitably doesn't start the nest game, and looking desperately for reasons to blame Marshall for every little thing.
The same way somebody can rise up the pecking order while playing

No. My first post was purely about the match tonight. GLP replied with some passive aggressive dig about Marshall and I've just been responding to that. I really hoped people wouldn't go on about him tonight but fully expected it. I'm really sick of the negativity about the players in general this season which I think is really unfair, and I really think this result should be celebrated and not used as further ammunition for this ridiculous keeper campaign.

Swanny nailed it when asked. Our problem really hasn't been the keeper. People are going way over the top with emotion.

Seriously, PLT, what do you expect? He kept us in the game, judged all of the penalties correctly and saved some. Did you not expect some discussion?

Swanny is right, there are other problems, but many of us also think dropping Jak was wrong, so we discuss it. Anyway, Swanny's a ****.

There's literally no neutrals talking about our goalkeeping situation. Fans have convinced themselves that it's a disgrace but ask anyone outside of City who Jakupovic even is and they wouldn't have a clue. This situation is the very definition of a storm in a teacup. If there was a handbook for football fans, this would be the case study for how not to be hysterically pissy about absolutely nothing.

Weren't Fulham meant to be after him in the summer?

let's not let it gloss over though

newcastle had over 30 shots against us at home...

think the cup must be ours

Diomande was good as well , he makes things happen , same as Robertson and Snoddy

I just wish we would go out and try to score first in games

Ah yes, I forgot City fans could only discuss issues that neutrals also deem worthy to discuss. So really we shouldn't have any discussion, as no one outside of Hull gives a **** about Hull?
