Great result in the end considering MBollockikani's head push. It was always gonna be tricky against a plucky lower league ****e of a club. It was their Cup Final & nothing more than a bit of a distraction for us although I'm glad we gave it a go. It was only a year ago we were winning on pens against Leicester, from a higher league, one of only a Jeremy Beadle handful of teams to get a result over them before they were crowned Champions. We went about it properly, no Billy Big Bollocks from us. Did Newcastle learn nowt from Sheffield Weds? Self entitlement & having more fans wins you nowt. He hasn't performed well since he arrived. Why are you the only person advocating Marshall in goal? Jakupovic is a far better keeper.
I support Jakupovic as much as I ever did. I'm delighted that he's played a big part in our victory tonight. Obviously it doesn't mean he's suddenly a better goalie. How can someone drop down the pecking order while being rested? Jak's performances will put pressure on Marshall to continue performing which can only be a good thing. If Marshall stops performing he'll be dropped, but it's very unlikely to happen before that just because the backup has had a good game while the 1st choice was rested. What isn't going to be helpful, is fans moaning when Jak inevitably doesn't start the nest game, and looking desperately for reasons to blame Marshall for every little thing.

You are the only person that supports City that still probably rates Marshall ahead of Jakupovic. It's no contest Jakupovic every day of the week - look at how much more confident the defence was with Jakupovic in goal than they are when we have the leaden footed Marshall in goal.
