I'm in favour of a thread discussing transfers. We all seem to be talking about who we need/want, let the thread roll.
"A" striker?
We need THREE strikers. We needed at least two more at the start of the season. As things stand, Long is more likely to hit the Itchen Bridge than the Itchen stand net, so we need someone to replace him in January.

To be honest there does not seem to be many that say we do not need a striker or strikers. I have no idea why or how this rumour of Sturridge got going. I find it hard to believe he would even remotely be considered for the likes of Saints. We can do better....... as I have previously said I cannot see anyone going in January and certainly none of the long contract guys next year.
I just wish Katrina would kick this takeover stint into touch......

You think we could sing a better striker than Sturridge? What sort of names are you thinking of.
Off the top of my head I certainly can't think of anybody better that we have a chance of signing.
