Walnut was a whippet who was put down today, just for anyone wondering what the hell this thread is about.
His owner tweeted that he was taking him for his final walk and it went viral and hundreds of people turned up with their dogs.
I may have sounded flippant, but you harden.
I lost my dog last year.
It's also the (very short) season for French wet walnuts, fill yer boots!New season Californian walnuts available at all good quality greengrocers!![]()
I know what you mean. I still miss our last guinea pig which got carried away by (I think) a sparrowhawk 3 years ago.I might be a grizzly old northerner but - **** me - talk about pull at the heart strings.

This isn't the family dog I grew up with, but looks a lot like him. He was a Welsh Springer Spaniel and was very much part of the family. RIP Kim xThe wife wants to know why I didn't do the same for our 16 year old dog last August.
We lost our westie Max 4 years ago and I'm still not over it. He was my best pal when my ex wife and I split up. I see him everyday though, I've got a picture of him and the kids on my bank card. RIP Max xThis isn't the family dog I grew up with, but looks a lot like him. He was a Welsh Springer Spaniel and was very much part of the family. RIP Kim x
