What's not to like - standard three nowt against the plucky minnows of Scotland - empty your pockets and back up the road you sweaty bastards ........ and try not to smash 'owt till you get to Gretna!
you can only beat whats infront of you, however saying that.... England cant seem to turn it on during a tournament.
He looked good, even thought Strachan hasn't a Scooby how to play him - or the others are so **** he just says 'Get on with it!' Scotland simply proved just how far away we are from really bad.
Tis a real shame that this fixture when It comes is so uncompetitive, it used to be a fixture full of passion and fury and winning meant so much, now it's a bit like when we play York in pre season, sure a few idiots get riled up but it's a paddling on the pitch and all a bit meh
i was thinking the same watching it's just the way the football has gone now, you can't do any fiery tackles at this level anymore etc and probably because scotland are so **** thesedays and the england players are all pampered super star millionaires, they dont have the passion for stuff like this
My brother is an ex city hoolie, lived in Scotland for 25 years, still supporting England, had Snodders as MOM.?
I only watched parts of the match Snodgrass always looked good and tidy in possession with quick insightful passes. Sadly for the Sweaties it slowed back down when the ball was at the feat of one of his team mates. I expected a plucky harder working performance from Scotland. Were all of our goals headers?
I wouldn't have put him as MOM, although he was Scotlands best player Probably Rose or Lallana Sterling was the greediest bastard of the the match ...and missed a goal that I could have scored though!
That was the best atmosphere at an England game for a long while. We played some good stuff when we passed it quickly, but it didn't happen anywhere near often enough and the last half hour was like a training game. Cahill and Stones were guilty of some shocking ****ing about, a decent team would have punished us. Sterling did some decent stuff, but late in the game there were several occasions when he should have passed but didn't, his decision making is terrible. Lallana was definitely Man Of The Match. It seems Rooney gets slagged off whatever he does, he was good last night. We'll need to tidy things up significantly against Spain, or we'll be punished.
Lallana looks like he's really benefitting from the coaching by Klopp at Liverpool. Becoming a key play in the international set up.
You were there, I watched the box, yet we both saw the same thing. What the **** were some others on here watching?
