Went in to 9/4 at one point today then went off 3/1 touched 10/3! Couldn't resist the 10/3. Won pretty cosily too! The Fav was extremely disappointing especially as the money came in for him late!
Where's Boris with his breeders cup tips. Didn't he clean up last year?
Done that fair easy the bumper horse, couldn't believe it wasn't nearer favouritism last evening! The other one won too but pretty fortutiously from what I saw.

My nap for the meeting was Lord Nelson in the sprint, on antepost at 7/1, yet again this season one ive been on antepost and looking forward to gets injured in the week before the race.
So Mi Dar 33/1, La Cressonniere 14/1 and now Lord Nelson 7/1

I saw that Fort Bastion race as they happened to have ATR on in the pub as well as the Man United rubbish. Clearly he is going to have to get used to living out of a suitcase. I wonder how much Dascombe made out of him being in the yard for twelve days. They certainly won’t have got rich backing him at 4/7.

Songbird may look like a licence to print money in the Distaff but she has never raced against older fillies before and she has won a lot of small field events to stay unbeaten.
I cannot say that I am in any hurry to back the visitors from Europe in the Friday Breeders’ Cup card.
Ryan Moore prefers Intelligence Cross in the Juvenile Turf to Lancaster Bomber, perhaps wary of the fact that when runner-up in the Dewhurst the latter was the pacemaker. Rodaini disappointed last time and it is hard to see him troubling the home team, with Big Score and Good Samaritan looking likely smart types.
The O’Brien family represent almost the whole foreign challenge in the Juvenile Fillies Turf, although former French filly Spain Burg (winner of the Rockfel) makes her new home debut with Frankie still aboard. Marcel Boussac fifth Cavale Doree is an interesting addition to this field by Christophe Ferland, so clearly the owner has deep pockets and big aspirations.
The home team may start a very good weekend against the visitors, obviously in the dirt races but even in the turf events.

I've played Thorntoun Lady 40/1 (e/w) in Newcastles 6:50.

Agree with you QM- although Songbird has been so impressive throughout her career this looks possibly the best race she has ever been involved in, which is the reason she is odds against.
If she goes and hoses in then we will all tip our hats to her.

You can be as arrogant as you like when you have a 50% strike rate and they are going in at 12/1 & 9/2. Typically I backed your first one, saw it lose and then left the rest alone. Try harder on the earlier races will ya ;-)
