That was my point, wasn't it <applause>

Harry Kane was not good enough to be starting games for us at the time. He's clearly developed since. But at the time he was a petulant kid who thought the world revolved around him and he didn't have the ability to back it up.

Nope. Your manager was and is crap.
Jamie Vardy wasn't ready at the age of 25 either, I guess.

The idea that Kane was too arrogant to play for Leicester, but not for Millwall is quite laughable.
Why did he perform for them, but not for you?

And Giroud picks off more dodgy Sunderland defending. Great.

And they've utterly collapsed. Moyes out?

    #36544
  5. They are an absolute shambles defensively and a few of them coasting. Moyes may go but the players need to take some responsibility

Sam Allardyce has rejected the Wolves job. How quickly would they have him back at Sunderland?

    Are you drunk?

    1) He's not our manager any more.
    2) I've not said anything about Vardy. At the time he wasn't good enough, he's progressed no end since. You know, as players do the more they play professional games.
    3) Where have I said that he was too arrogant to play for Leicester? I said that he acted like he was the man, when he wasn't. He may well have been the man at Millwall but I didn't pay attention to him when he played for them. Why would I?
    4) I've no idea why he scored more goals at Millwall. But we had two better strikers than him at Leicester and he didn't get a look in.

You keep asserting things like they're facts, when they're clearly not.
The players weren't good enough? Pearson wasn't and isn't good enough. That was the problem.

You think that Kane was acting like he was too good to play for you, but he didn't do that at Millwall.
Why would that be? Could it be that you're just wrong?

You had two average Championship strikers that are still average Championship strikers.
Pearson went with them over better players, because he's not very good. It's that simple.

Yeah Pearson wasn't good enough. That's why we won the league with 102 points, yeah? <laugh>

I do think that. He didn't put the same work rate in for us as he did for you. I can only put that down to attitude.

Why do you think they were average? Nugent got a goal every other game for us and Wood had 9 in 20 that season. Nothing like upper Premier League class but they were both outperforming Vardy and Kane and both proved they were good enough to get a team out of that league.

You do know that players can develop and improve? You know that they can also regress?
Why are you picking this argument? You're coming across as a bit thick.

I know it was only Sunderland butthe goons are looking strong and have done so since the Liverpool match. They seem to have sorted their defence. Am not looking forward to the NLD

Depends to a large extent on how it is reffed, they have a number of prima donnas and they ought to be issued with flippers for all their diving.

  12. Agree 100%
They are the form team and IF they can avoid an implosion (admittedly unlikely) could sleepwalk to the title at this rate. No one else is showing any consistency.

Malky Mackay and Brian McDermott won it in the seasons before that.
It's hardly a stamp of quality, is it?
Or crap management. Or you being wrong and him struggling to recover from a long injury.
Nugent and Wood have always been average players at that level and not good enough for the Prem.
That's been consistent for quite a number of years now.
Nugent is decent, then steps up, flops and drops back down. Wood's not even at that level.
That's not a controversial opinion, to be honest.

Liverpool on the opening day, which they lost. Leicester, which they drew.
Arguably Chelsea, who they beat comfortably. Southampton are decent, too.
They have faced quite a few teams that you'd back them to beat easily, though.

I deleted your post (singular) because it was insulting and abusive, neither of which we allow on this board.
I told you that as part of the deletion.

Middlesbrough at home shows you how quickly and easily Arsenal will drop points when Wenger fails to rotate and/or motivate his team. Three or so seasons ago we were near enough top all the way to Xmas because of an easier schedule playing most of the tougher teams at home. We then got dicked in all the tough away ones to fall miles away. This season is following that one at the moment. Hopefully it bucks the trend when the tougher games come round.

You could have merely edited the bit that caused you so, so much offence.
