The terms that the deal will be under could hold the key to that. I do not think that any of the bids are for full cash up front deals. Sometimes less is more. If for instance the Chien Lee offer includes some partnering in future developments, both here and abroad, would that be a better deal than simply selling for the highest price.
Yep, I agree, I think the gruesome twosome see and have always seen the stadium, land/development as the big prize/cash cow, and want a share of that. They know the Council will never deal with them, but are receptive to potential new owners, and they won't want to walk away and leave someone else to benefit, they will still want a piece of the development action somehow, as part of any sale deal?

The only potential development site at the moment is the SMC's existing lease site, it's not a big enough development site to make serious money, they won't be that arsed about it.

Change of plans so I've canceled trip to Madrid. Im en route to Beijing now. Excited to be finally getting a certain deal over the line.

I had earlier a bit of a twitter discussion with him, he tweeted "Just arrive Beijing going into meetings" I answered him back "Wow straight into meetings at midnight" I am impressed. His answer was in China that is when meetings take place" I replied to him not in meeting I have been involved with in China. He didn't reply.

People on here will know him personally John. You'll be wrong.

The fact anyone feels the need to share that they're about to go into a meeting smacks of 'everyone look at me'. He's got to be exaggerating his importance somewhat.
