It'd be really difficult to get people to buy into this again. The hardcore type are sick of red cards, they'll want firm action like pigs on the pitch etc. The "can't you just support the team" brigade will want no protests, unless we carry on with this run of form because as we know, having the heart ripped out of your club is ignorable, but losing games is disgusting and should be protested.
You just can't bring yourself to use the "M" word can you? The majority cant be arsed with protests because the club is in the process of being sold. They know that. You know that. We all know that. It's not going as quickly as we would hope for, but it's happening. In the meantime, it's hilarious people are demanding the current owners spend more money on the club. Why should they? You want them gone, they're wanting out. You have hounded them out, well done, this state of affairs was inevitable too. Of course you expect, nay demand, that they leave all contrite, apologetic, and after spending yet more money on the club. Good luck with that.
I think you give us more credit than we deserve when you say we "hounded them out". I would like to think we did but I don't really think they give a **** what 'plebs' do.
It's only going to be sold if the ****s actually stick with one of the selling prices they agree with potential buyers.
The idea that anyone could hound Allam out is risible. It would require a somewhat thinner skin and him giving a **** what irrelevant people like fans felt.
1. I'm still not convinced that they will sell it. TWT but I'll believe it when I see it 2. I'd love to think I'd helped hound them out, but they really couldn't care less what I think or do so I can't take credit for that I'm afraid 3. I don't expect them to spend any more money, and I don't demand anything of them if they do sell, in fact I'd prefer it if they never mentioned us again. 4. I'd really rather like a new owner that can bring themselves to refer to the club as Hull City. Obviously I'd like concessions to come back, even knowing costs would go up for me, too. However I don't expect any new owner to be even close to perfect either. I think the desire to own a club is suspect in the first place, I wouldn't want to This is the manifesto of DBT ... and if you disagree ...I don't care
An owner like little, insignificant Bournemouth would be nice. And a manager like theirs. Even though they are not worthy of being in the same league as ourselves according to some of our fans with an inflated sense of entitlement.
Think we have always been sceptical. But it did look done and dusted. Only Balkan didnt believe it. I had a theory they were going to run us into the ground into next season and put us into the same position as when they bought us. Bought October November time in 2010. Then put is into admin in Oct 2017. And **** you all.. Maybe this should go on the conspiracy thread...
I suspect the majority of City fans don't know the club is being sold at all, in fact, the majority think there's little chance of an imminent sale.
Interesting you think that. Interesting the protests have died on their arse too. If that is what the majority think.
Who would want to deal with the fools? Offer - counter offer - agreement of sale price - sign sale agreement this is how it should be done but the Allams prefer.. Offer - agreement - change the price
The conspiracy thread consisted of far flung nonsense with no foundation in reality. So it doesn't belong there.
