There's 2 things that can derail it at this stage

1. Agreement re: the supporting infrastructure

2. Planning consent

However, the deal to buy the dock and adjoining land was agreed and done nearly 2 months ago

My personal opinion is that they've been waiting for either the stadia expo or the November AGM to announce it

And this tour of Croxteth is all just theatre to distract people and make the announcement seem like a surprise?

You said it would be announced September, then it slipped to the October expo, now maybe Novemeber AGM?

Next week it will be Christmas or New Year

Contrary to the optimism of Tobes and Anderson who think the new stadium deal will be announced any day now, Moshiri hasn't even started negotiations for any land yet. He saw Peel's £30m price tag for the docks and now thinks it's better to start looking around for a cheaper option.

This is only according to the Guardian's exclusive access though, you might prefer to trust Tobes [HASHTAG]#itk[/HASHTAG] even though his timeframe for Moshiri to buy players and announce the stadium keeps slipping

No that's the site Moshiri will announce in a couple of months. He'll talk about how he remembered you are a family and he didn't want James McCarthy to have to travel too far, so he decided it's better to go with Croxteth.

I said it was done, and I expected it to be announced within a week or 2 of it being concluded

For whatever reason that timeframe didn't happen.

He seems a little quite on this for some reason. Big Joe bagged an invite, strange he needed to tag along.
