One of the problems on this thread (and others) is people with limited comprehension skills who don't read what's written.
Maybe they are following an alternstive/contrary narrative?

Dont foget the missing coma. Was that last word a piece of bait you left dangling?
Dont foget the missing coma.
Is this an example of 'Fill in the Blank'?Is the coma what you fell into after reading the of his posts?
Is this an example of 'Fill in the Blank'?
The schoolbook-regurgitation stuff on here about the historicity of mythical figures, though, is soporific if not coma-inducing.
Was that hyphen strictly necessary?
Of course. An alternative rendition would be 'the stuff consisting of the regurgitation of material from a schoolbook'. I guess that may be more your style. Or, were you misreading the word as 'schoolboy'?Was that hyphen strictly necessary?
Well you'll find out if the As ever actually go I suppose
But the bigger question would be what has caused people to not be arsed to go?
Either they have become disenfranchised with City, or with football in general or both
So what do you think they should do if they're 'the problem'?
Keep coming to keep you happy?
There will always be people who stop coming for all sorts of reasons
What the club should be doing is figuring out how to get them interested again...either that or figuring out how to bring young fans in to replace them
However the club appears to be doing neither, in fact they seem to be actively discouraging young people from starting to come independently
Those priced out by withdrawal of concessions or by circumstances beyond their control are not the problem.
I don't believe all the missing fans belong to the above categories.
Just think that collectively as a city and as a fanbase, too many people have used the Allams as an excuse to stop attending.
It is OUR club not his.

I think some people who can no longer be arsed to attend claim they are 'boycotting'.
Some are genuinely boycotting, but not all of those who claim they are.
I know a few who are 'boycotting' and that virtue-signalling suits them nicely, better than seeming a part-timer etc
Their reasons? Ask them, they're all different, the 'boycott' is an umbrella term for them. Apathy, other interests, new bird etc
Not every 'boycotter' is a principled passionate disenfranchised fan.
Quite frankly, at the very outset of the present owners tenure, it would have been difficult to for-see the depths to which they would be prepared to plunge in their quest to impose their will on OUR club and its supporters.I beg to differ on your last point
You're pushing it - the Allamites will be at your throat. Not only that, but Castro will be at you for using an illegal hyphen.Quite frankly, at the very outset of the present owners tenure, it would have been difficult to for-see the depths to which they would be prepared to plunge in their quest to impose their will on OUR club and its supporters.

Sadly I was an 'Alamist' during their initial involvement but it is difficult see how anyone could continue being so as their true colours began to emerge. You're pushing it - the Allamites will be at your throat. Not only that, but Castro will be at you for using an illegal hyphen.
On an emotional level I can see why people are claiming City as "their" club.
But as they aren't share holders, it isn't really theirs is it?
Emotion doesn't pay the bills does it?
I mean can you imagine going into Halifax and saying: "Today I feel happy, can you knock £500 off my mortgage please?"

Everyone originally, well nearly everyone, was an Allamist initially as we were naive enough to believe what he said. One poster on CI cast doubts about him right from the off and was castigated by virtually every other poster but has been vindicated. Someone I know, not a City fan, who had been involved in business dealings with Allam said to me at the time that it is all brightness and light now but it will all end in tears. Another one owed an apology as I told him he was wrong.
