Lots did first time, some stayed, some have tried it and don't bother anymore Do you think there are several thousand that didn't think "ooh premier league" then or this season, but might in the future? Maybe the younger ones who can't afford to go now might give it a go when they get jobs I suppose
I dont have the answers man. but if ppl think that the gates will fall just cos they boycott the game are sadly mistaken. they will get replaced by others and wont be missed.
maybe they have fallen in the short term, but should we survive in the top flight, I can see the gates increasing.
One of the problems on this thread (and others) is people with limited comprehension skills who don't read what's written.
Your 'point' was irrelevant because you hadn't read the post(s) correctly. Whether or not this is typical of you, I couldn't care less.
People who have stopped going is a problem. People who use a 'boycott' as their reason (when it's something else) are part of the problem. People who put two and two together to make five are a problem.
I don't get what you mean What type of reason do you think people who are saying they are boycotting have actually got?
I think some people who can no longer be arsed to attend claim they are 'boycotting'. Some are genuinely boycotting, but not all of those who claim they are. I know a few who are 'boycotting' and that virtue-signalling suits them nicely, better than seeming a part-timer etc Their reasons? Ask them, they're all different, the 'boycott' is an umbrella term for them. Apathy, other interests, new bird etc Not every 'boycotter' is a principled passionate disenfranchised fan.
Well you'll find out if the As ever actually go I suppose But the bigger question would be what has caused people to not be arsed to go? Either they have become disenfranchised with City, or with football in general or both So what do you think they should do if they're 'the problem'? Keep coming to keep you happy? There will always be people who stop coming for all sorts of reasons What the club should be doing is figuring out how to get them interested again...either that or figuring out how to bring young fans in to replace them However the club appears to be doing neither, in fact they seem to be actively discouraging young people from starting to come independently
