Where will these new fans come from? That untapped group of the 'fans' who are middle aged and so can afford to go, but haven't previously ever wanted to even when we were in the PL. ?
For me it was a combination of price rises and Hull Tigers bullshit. I was being ripped off for something I don't support, cleansed out. It's not the same club anymore, the people who meekly stood still to help facilitate it all are not the sort of people I want to share my personal space with. I'll feel that way for a long time I think. I feel strongly about the way the club is run, the actions of the owners and I do not see the club being in the PL as a reason to suck it up and return, I think the Allams deserve a half-empty stadium despite success and I will not take part in a seeming approval of their control by attending. Once they're gone I'll have a good look at it. I miss going but I feel staying away is more important.

I have though aimed that barb at a self-opinionated type on CI who used to post about his City supporting credentials whilst disparaging others but was at Wembley for his first and last rugby league match. I know people who used to go to both and were torn between the two.Some went,some didn't. The biggest rows were where they had paid for trips at work months in advance for acWembleybday out with no thought of who would be there or what an important game if would be for City that weekend and the wives wanted their weekend in Londom.
