Well of course not. We just needed some leadership in the centre of defence from a quality CB, with the ability to organise the defence and see the game out, unfortunately the only one we've got that seems to be able to do that appears to be injured. To be fair this game isn't that different from the rest of the games this season, result isn't horrendous, just the performance. Interestingly that Tettey's back in the team and we seem to go backwards.

So playing 5 across the back crashed and burned pretty swiftly.
And leaving CJ or Oliveira isolated up front once Murphy was (bloody stupidly <grr>) hauled off meant no outlet ball upfront so just defend like warriors on the edge of your own 6 yard line <doh> <doh>
Inviting pressure or what <wah>

We choked big time , we move on to our televised match on Saturday .
Horrible horrible result felt like Liverpool last year .
 
I did say several times on various other threads that not signing Gayle was a huge mistake.<whistle>
