Martin & Bassong as CB pairing didn't work last season, why would anyone think it would be different this year. How many times last season did we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with these two clowns in the centre of defence.
Well of course not. We just needed some leadership in the centre of defence from a quality CB, with the ability to organise the defence and see the game out, unfortunately the only one we've got that seems to be able to do that appears to be injured. To be fair this game isn't that different from the rest of the games this season, result isn't horrendous, just the performance. Interestingly that Tettey's back in the team and we seem to go backwards.
