If you don't like the heat stay out of the kitchen, in this case Sakho must look for another club not to become Mario Mark11.
Don't look good for Sakho. But not sure 100% he's a gonna. If we need to raise funds to buy players he will definitely be top of the list in my opinion. Our TV money has gone somewhere. Whether it has been spent yet ie expansion or its earmarked for next one who knows. Could even be a case of we have money to spend but right player unavailable just yet. That might be Sakho only saving grace at mo unless we need to sell first.
Very hard to get top players in January window. Can be costly too except the player is in the last year of his contract.
Think this is more so the case with Klopp, he's a bit like Wenger in that regard, won't spend for the sake of it and will only do so if the right player is available at the right price that fits the style of play he wants to implement.. At the time we gasped at Mane's price, "If" he keeps going the way he is, then 30m+ will be a bargain! Gini, 20m+, Klopp saw something in him that fitted what we want to do, and so far so good! We've got some decent youngsters that will hopefully make the cut in the future. Future windows, I don't expect us to buy 6+ players anymore, more a case of 2 quality players, if available.
this is just a mischievous hack. In case anyone failed ot note; a) rumminege (sp?) commented on klopp joining us telling him to stay home in Germany. b) they have anchelotti for 3 years... like... ermm... so who gives a **** right now.
I think your point is ok but klopp is not like wneger. wenger seems very very hesitant to buy a 20mil player. he bought sanchez and ozil for mega bucks and xhaka finally but seems very reluctant to just buy a guy who is that 20/25mil price. i think klopp will buy the right player irrespective of price but not grossly over pay or ignore the young talent coming. he snapped up matip and we all know dahoud and pulisic is who he wants and will wait to get. If there was trouble at LB he'd have bought one though... he likes moreno for some reason. The lad must be a good trainer... thats all i can say to that.
Rumours Cahill may be on his way out at Chelsea - would he fit with us? A bit too old for Klopp maybe but pretty solid.
no, not for me. bit of a donkey really now our eyes have been opened by matip. cahill is what he is. We have lovern.. whats the real difference here?
more experienced at making sure his wife is not having an affair given he has to watch terry like a hawk
good question. Its difficult. Brexit may change this but for the UEFA rules man city only have 21 registered players in europe right now cos they cannot meet it. we need 4 club trained players and 4 association players. Club trained are players trained by us in accordance with the age and 3 seasons rule and can be any nationality. I quote: "The UEFA Home Grown Player rules stipulate that 4 of the designated squad players have to be ‘club-trained’ and 4 must also be ‘association-trained’. A club-trained player is defined as a player who regardless of his place of birth has been registered between the ages of 15 and 21 with his current club for a period of three entire seasons or 36 months. An ‘association-trained’ player fulfils the same criteria but with another club in the same association." As of now this could be Flanagan, Randall... but gomez needs one more year after this current one to qualify. Ojo would qualify eventually. oyou can't just throw kids at this group either. they must be over 21. Our club trained is not an issue par se. Clyne Ings Stewart Milner henderson Sturridge So in actual fact association players are not as valuable now as own club trained players. city spent 49mil on stelring cos he was english... but actually having 4 guys over 21 who you trained is vital now. LFC just don't have it. We need 4 to have a full CL squad but they equally have to be actually good enough to play in the CL at the same time.
