He's a Cambridge graduate don't you know? <laugh>

You're not, though, Lightening. Which is why you scoff.

"Ner! Yer dern't poot fookin' left leg in't middle like that, yer daft apeth!"

We would never have permitted your sort into my college.

Has anyone told Bambi that the clever money is no longer placed on that whole "all Mousers claim benefits" crack? Obvious not.

Since the damning exposes during the 70s by cutting-edge documentaries and fly-on-the-wall programs, such as Panorama and Bread, times have moved on. Us normal fans no longer look upon all Mousers as scrounging, work-shy, wise-cracking chancers. Only some of them.
I know I hate to see appalling grammar but didn't you mean exposés. I know you appreciate this but I take no pleasure as you know ok!

Cambridge graduate, hot shot commercial property lawyer has to live in a Travelodge during the week to be at his client's beck and call.

Where did it all go wrong?

Why are you doing this Stan?

PS you're still confused about the spelling of Lightening/Lightning

Cambridge graduate...

Correct.

...hot shot commercial property lawyer...

Hot Shot? I don't recall giving myself this accolade.

Commercial Property? Meh. I suppose you could stretch this definition to describe what I used to do.

Lawyer? Yes, I am qualified as one or the other.

...has to live in a Travelodge during the week...

Who said I stay at a Travelodge? Only you, Lightning.

I stay in all kinds of hotels, depending on what's available, and what my budget happens to be.

...to be at his client's beck and call...

We all serve someone, Lightning.

Where did it all go wrong?

Be more specific, please. What are you referring to? What do you mean by "go wrong?"

Why are you doing this Stan?

You said it, Lightning!

PS you're still confused about the spelling of Lightening/Lightning

...because it so clearly rattles you, Lightening?

Correct.

That was easier than usual.

Oh, don't try and make out that you've riled me!

Because you haven't.

Got it!

You just haven't.

I am not riled.

End of.

HINT: The controlled manner in which I typed and set this out will inform non-segments that I was putting on a clever act.
