On way back to the car...entertaining game ... disappointing after we went down to ten ...bit of a foregone conclusion...

Largely reserve side played excellently in first half but switched off in added time to let Chelsea back in ...fabulous strike from Azpilicueta to equalise and after Costa came on Chelsea on top and deserved win...

Good run out for the younger lads ...

Good win for our youngsters and new players tonight 0-4 win at Forest. Xhaka scored another thunderbolt and Perez scored twice <ok>

Looking forward to watching a Rooney striker masterclass. I expect lots of heavy first touches, shots straight at the keeper/way over the bar and free kicks that Jonny Wilkinson would be proud of.

Probably missed the 'sell him back to Everton' boat now too

That boat has well sailed.

He needs to reinvent himself in the same position that Gerrard and Beckham did towards the end of their careers - the quarterback midfield anchorman who can't run.

He's not good enough. His passing, especially long range, as got to pot in recent years.

Don't agree mate, his passing is quality, he's lost his explosive short burst pace but his ability on the ball is still there.

Sorry mate, but he has no redeeming features to qualify for ANY position. While I appreciate he's been a great servant to the club, I'm sick of watching him with his head down feeling sorry for himself every time he fluffs a pass or gives away possession. Watching the first half, we've dominated the first 30 mins and ANY decent CF would've at least scored 2/3 goals. Instead the whole confidence of the side saps away because they know he's the weak link.We revert to passing the ball for no purpose because there's a massive hole in the final third where our striker should be.

I wish he'd just **** off tbh.

No room in football for sentiment. He's finish, they need to get rid imo. No point in trying to re-invent a player that wants to be Roy of the Rovers. Said the same for us with Gerrard.

I should have qualified that comment tbf, I don't think he can find a position for himself at United, but as a midfielder I think he could elsewhere

Sentiment is fine for players that warrant it and still offer something. Scholes, in his final years, even past his best, deserved the sentiment because he still made a difference to our team.

He's not a midfielder mate. Not at any club in the premiership. I know the press have talked about this, but the only thing he has in his locker is a 30 yard hollywood cross-field pass out wide. The trouble is he lacks the vision to knit play from defence into attack to play in CM. He's lost the ability to go past players to play in AM. And he can't tackle or read the game well enough to play a holding role.

My missus has been filming all day today, she's got a park in Poldark being filmed near where we live. I've had little 'un all day today. We went to the Nursery, jumped around doing toddler Zumba for an hour, left her there and went home and earned some brownie points by doing the housework, took the Dog out for a walk, posted a couple of parcels, caught up with a few emails and did my accounts for the last week. Went to pick little 'un up, went to the beach, took the dog for another walk, dog got into a fight so we left, went to a buy a Frozen helium balloon that she wanted (not the dog), went to another beach and chased little 'un around some more, dog did a big turd outside a cafe and I had no poo bags left, came home, played Little Mermaid game, watched frozen, cooked dinner for little un', did the laundry, fed the dog and the cat, cat hassled me for more milk, got little 'un in the bath, she threw a bucket of water over the floor, mopped it up, got her out and dressed ready for bed, watched little mermaid, missus rolled in, little 'un had a meltdown because mummy had been away all day ........ I'm ****ed !
