I'm totally disillusioned with the UK.
Maybe it's because I've had a lot of time off recently and I have had time to really visit a lot of it and I've realized it's a ****ing dump. I've been to London before doing the tourist stuff but 2 weeks ago I spent a few days there staying at a mates house and **** me it's an awful place. I'm ashamed to call it our capital. I thought areas of Hull were bad at night, but Jesus Christ. I felt safer walking through the streets of Rio de janeiro.
The economy is about to take another nose dive and there's the worst famine in 70 years happening in Africa, all the British public care about is what Jordan has done to her boobs and who is going to be on Xfactor. I'm not suprised our Parents/Grandparents moan about ,"Kids these days", because from my view the majority of our generation are twats.
This sums it up perfectly for me:
We're the middle children of history. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.
