If I were a vegen creature in balance with the world at large maybe I could join in in this sort of critical nonsense. But we are top of the foodchain baby! us and our pets. We all seem hell bent on the destruction of our planet so we might as well have our favourite cuddly feline friends as our partner in crime. I can acknowledge there is a problem because our pets do cause an imbalance in the eco system. If the cats were wild but not fed by us they would naturally regulate there own numbers in harmony with the food source. But as long as we humans dominate the world and destroy so much, I won't be losing any sleep over the relatively modest damage our cats do. Well I for one wouldn't be without a cat living in the sticks. What this article fails to mention is that cats also cull the thousands of rats, mice and other rodents that live amongst us. Would you rather we were overun by those filthy disease ridden creatures who I for one would love to become extinct? Cats have been around for thousands of years and they have always had the instinct to kill or be killed. Survival of the fittest with millions of lesser species dying out through the years.
Sorry, the lady's (?) not for turning. Most get well fed at least twice a day, then dive out of their twat flap and kill the first thing that moves. For no reason. At least foxes, wolves and even wild dogs kill to survive, not for "fun" Sorry to have mentioned it, don't want to fall out over stupid bloody moggies
We leave bread out for the birds and the neighbors cats hide in the flower beds and pounce out at them. I've seen them get at least 1 bird.
I have my garden like a lush cottage garden. Full beds of colours and flowers. So it's pretty ideal for them to lie in wait for them. They also sh*t everywhere! I've had a cat, and loved her. I hate everyone else's cats in my garden.

Had a great evening yesterday. Headed off to East Runton to watch the high tide and with a Northerly wind, it was right up to the cliffs in places - looked so different compared to when I was up there a few weeks ago. Then went in to Cromer for fish and chips from No1 - very nice!!
Ha! The year before last, in the championship before, NCFC had a 12.45 kick off vs Derby. I went with friends to watch in the Runton Fishing Boat pub and started on the Abbot before 1 p.m. Several scoops later, I (wisely ) decided we should return via the beach - the tide was as you describe. The odd wet foot and almost home and yours truly tripped over a submerged rock and disappeared under the wave - camera still round neck Needless to say seawater and electrical circuits don't mix very well, of course the warranty was invalidated, so my pride and wallet suffered a little for it
