Can I just say. Anyone arguing their point for Kazri should hang their head in shame. Woeful
As many posters on here favour Roswell...may I inquire where he is injured?
Haha!! He was pretty bias with the cards though. Not arguing that ours weren't. Just that Walker, Sissoko and whoever tried to trip Januzaj should all have been booked.Marcus' referee watch.
I still think letting Lens go was daft. In his brief appearances he looked like he wanted to compete and like he cared. Now we're stuck with an out of form Khazri, headless chicken Watmore, and a now banned Januzaj. We are reasonably solid but there is zero creativity whatsoever.
1 goal will be enough to beat us most games and we've mistakes in us. Doesn't look good, that lack of a striker option is absolute suicide.

Defoe looked completely isolated all game. We can't keep the ball for any length of time in the final third and the ball was needlessly given away in midfield too often.
That said, there are plenty of positives. Like you said, we look solid. That was a good battling performance. Pickford looked quality. NDong looks good. The only thing that undid us was a momentary lapse in concentration from Djilobodji; that can be coached out of him.
1-0 loss away to Spurs is fairly respectable. I'd like to see some points on the board soon though.
He was though. Pass and run. Not bothered about where the ball ends up from my pass!Could make that case for just about all of them.
And no, I won't hang my head in shame as I'm one who thinks he should be starting.
He doesn't just go from having a huge impact last season to being ****e.
He does. I'm still holding out hope that come January we will have a first choice midfield of him, Kirchhoff and M'Vila. I haven't given up hope yet!Ndong looks potentially superb doesn't he. It's a small mercy at the minute but it's something.
Yes and yes!! Pickford again superb in goal although his kicking was poor though today. And I like his distributionPlus side, Ndong looks the biz and we've got a cracking young goalkeeper.

Fwiw I thought, after a drubbing on Monday, we did ok today. We've played 2 very good sides this week. With a little luck we'd have got a point today. Spurs are very good and we are on a low point. We lost 1-0. Most thought from reading in here and fb, that we'd get hammered. We didn't. Defended well and almost nicked a goal.
I must've watched a different game to a Lot in here
Be interesting to see what's said about pva mind.
He's out of form but he has a better all round game than Watmore and so offers us more if he's allowed to play his way back into form. There were plenty of others guilty of giving the ball away needlessly though. I was disappointed when Pienaar went off as he appears to have more composure on the ball than several others. He was ****e today, I agree, but then again so were the rest of them.
No idea what game you were watching. Go and have a look at the stats, we were battered. Could quite easily have been 4 or 5. Pickford kept us in the game.

That's going to be our problem until January at the earliest I reckon. When's Borini back? The ball might stick up front a bit more thenI think Pickford was trying to play a ball over the top for Defoe which is a big ask from where he is and he over hit a few. I don't blame him for trying though there was **** all else going on in attack.
