Austin's got to play, with Long and Redmond in attack we'll struggle to score 25 goals in a season.

Agree. I actually don't mind either Long or Redmond, but just not Long AND Redmond.

Both Long and Redmond are actually having good games today, aside from their awful finishes. Redmond especially has looked very sharp.

I'm going to cut Redmond some slack for that miss because he did so much right to get to that spot, and everyone misses a bad one now and again. Plus, he's learning the position. Long... we've just seen that too many times from him. At least he put it on goal.

I like having one of those two for the hard work/pace/trickiness. I'd pick Redmond, but Long is fine as well. But need to pair them up with a finisher.

As for penalty, not a pen and good decision not give it, Long very much found the leg rather than it being a foul.

I don't think we can moan to much, it's purely our own inability to put the ball in the net that's cost us again so far. Swansea will think them selves lucky going in a 0-0.

The formation looks good so far today, though. Bertrand playing well. We haven't lacked width on attack, and haven't had problems down the wing. Passing from midfield has been fairly crisp. We've kept possession well when we have it, and played some pretty through balls.

Everything has been decent except for the finishing.

He had so much space and time, I was expecting a touch. It's hard to watch at times.

Aside from the last 5 minutes everything was just so slow. We need to up the tempo, we have the players for it, I can't understand why we've employed these kind of negative tactics at home to Swansea.

I agree it wasn't a pen. The yellow card was arguably bit harsh as Long did step on the defender and really had nowhere to land. Yes, he sort of played himself into that position but that's not a penalty. It's only a penalty to me if you actually dive.
