We're playing excellent but that was hands down the worst miss I can remember from a Saints player.
Fairly good buildup undone by a complete inability to hit the target. Feels like it'll be the story of this season.
When were not playing to their strengths, sure. They're both being wasted in the diamond. We have the perfect personnel for 4-2-3-1 and I don't see how Puel can't see that. It's worked so well the last few seasons.
Our build up play has been some of the best this season. Striker or no striker, Redmond has to at least get that on target - not excuse for that miss. Austin on for Long, get balls like that to Charlie and he will bury them.
Definitely not a pen, good decision from the ref. Long knew what he was doing.
Redmond has played quite well but that finish was absolutely awful. Should of found Long a few minutes before as well instead of blazing it over.
Cedrics crossing has been poor, can see why people have been moaning about it in previous home games.
Swansea looking dangerous at times too. Could go either way this one.

Virgil is a better striker than Redmond.
We've had chances notably Long getting in Tadic's way for what would have been a tap in and also Redmond's glaring miss.
Ha. She's not the only one. My wife is sitting next to me, looked at the replay to see why I was annoyed and immediately said "I could do better than that."
Seems to be a recurring situation. I don't care if Austin isn't mobile around the pitch. Let him goal hang if it means we score some goals.
I would say Long's second chance with the rebound was easier. On the other hand, they should have both been finished off.
They're the perfect personnel for an up-tempo 4-2-3-1/4-3-3. Puel doesn't want to play at a high tempo, though. Involves too much energy expenditure.
