I would really like to know why Reed hasn't had more of a shot in the 1st team. everytime Ive seen the lad playing he looks bloody good. Vision, tenacity and he can hit the top corner too. After his debut under Poch he should have continued into a regular. Damn shame.
I agree, I think HR has been "unlucky" not to get more opportunities especially at the moment when a number of the first team seam to be struggling

Do you mean the Norwegian lad? Real Madrid signed him as a 16 year old I think and there was a rumour a season or so back we were in for him on loan. As far as I am aware, he is still there. Martin Odegaard

Niall Mason? He was released from our Academy last year, and signed by Aston Villa. He's now playing with Doncaster on loan...started as an attacking mid as a youth, but has been deployed in defense since joining Villa.
Poch did, Koeman not so much last season, too early to tell with Puel. it's telling though, that Puel wanted to keep him here in the summer despite loan interest.

I think he's certainly got the quality - he's one injury away from the matchday squad so his chance will come.
Poch rated him enough to give him a debut (a start at Sunderland, before coming on against Man City), plus another 8 appearances after Christmas.
