Fun day today. Started off with a dawny surf, then drove up to Hollywell bay where my missus is an extra in Poldark. Me and the little one helped ourselves to free food from the catering truck and then played a skipping game with Ross Poldark (don't know his name) from the Tele. Went on up to Newquay to take little un' to the Zoo. Finished up eating fish n chips on the beach at Lusty glaze. Little un' asleep in the car on the way home. Perfect day

Gave it up years ago, when I stopped smoking.

There was a load of home grown stuff when I was a student. My mate had a few plants growing using a couple of Phillips sunlamps, with electric pirated off the landlord! Used to dry it out and smoke it, seeds and all!

There was also great stuff like Nepalese or Lebanese black. Few flakes of that in your roll up and you were away and gone.

There's so much chemically enhanced **** being pushed now, I'm not sure I'd want to try it again without being sure of the source.,

Too much crap around now. Back in my day you grew your own, or bought from a trusted dealer. But it was all 'clean'. Not half filled with whatever the **** they stick in some of it nowadays to pad it out.

I bought a bag of about half a kilo of home grown grass out in Barbados for about £8

 

To be honest, the stuff I've smoked recently (and I'm a very infrequent toker these days) is much cleaner and stronger than the bits of plastic, clingfilm ****e that I used to get in sticky black and cheese a few years ago.

 

It's all about the source, as it always has been.

Safest way is to grow your own or get it from a mate who does. Otherwise, you need a trusted dealer that you know won't sell you any crap.

Resin, which I preferred, I'm not sure what's available nowadays.

 

I don't buy it anymore. I only really have a smoke when I'm playing music at rehearsals. A mate of mine grows it for a 'living' and makes a lovely pollen hash. It's potent stuff !
