I don't think QPR could survive another change. I really think we've got to stick. I think there's barely any chance of us being relegated but, as I said in a recent post, we probably need 3 more seasons of mediocrity to purge the disease we have.
Pulis was sitting next to Ferdinand on Tuesday night. Ferdinand got up and stormed off raging after the 4th goal.
I think there's a very real chance of being relegated as we are really no better or worse than about 18 teams out of the 24. If we continue to persist with wingers playing on the wrong wing we're left with hoping Chery does something sublime or a set piece for goals.
All kinds of things went wrong on Tuesday night. But, aside from that one game, we have not at all looked like relegation material. I would make a bet on us not getting into the top 6, though.
Agreed. I'm expecting between 10th and 15th but can't help but feel there are some simple things which would improve our chances a lot.
I'm expecting/hoping we'll finish in the top half of table, with some good games along the way. Perhaps a slight improvement on last year? Tuesday's game doesn't make me think that good things can be done by the current management staff and squad. I'm even open to being surprised and us improving throughout the season to finish strongly.
Listen i am no fan of JFH (if you hadn't guessed) but no way do i want Pulis. Saying that he kept Stoke up in the Prem long enough while we had so called good players and went down. Les only stormed out after the 4th? That long?
When Ferdinand says that the defeat on Tuesday night was 'obviously unacceptable' what exactly does that mean? It's obviously unacceptable that I've just discovered that there's no toilet paper in the cubicle I'm sat in writing this, but I'm not sure what I can do about it now. Now if you'll excuse me I need to waddle like a duck.
I have a mate who is ITK and he has heard that JFH has one game to turn it around. Being that that game is against the league leaders on Saturday, bye bye Jimmy.
A season that started well has gone rapidly downhill, needs a performance showing some kind of resurrection, more of the same I think he'll walk regardless of fan opinion
No, it's more like the sum total of what he's done since he got here. And with that last drubbing with the team he chose, what's management got to do? Put a little fire under him, but will the players respond? As I was saying before, I don't think the players believe in him. Have we heard anything from any of the players say something about how it's not the gaffer's fault etc etc and that the we the players need to step it up we're professionals blah blah? Nope. Nothing. Zilch. Why? Have they been told to not say anything? That makes no sense. They all know what happened. The fans deserve some kind of response and analysis from the players. But we're not hearing enough of it. They'll say something before the next match about how they have to prove it to themselves etc etc but seriously - we ought to hear they feel about it, TODAY, right now. But I can't believe the silence. Just feels like there is no energy with our club at all. Except to hear JFH's excuses
Why exactly do the fans need to be told anything?......all you normally get are bland words from all footballers these days, they don't mean anything, it's just the gaffer said this blah blah blah, need to improve blah blah blah, gutted at the result blah blah blah. Nope I'd rather they kept their mouths closed........
