KLOPP ON LALLANA AND STURRIDGE

Jurgen Klopp, who handily lives just over the fence from Adam Lallana, has had his say on his neighbourly skills as well as his football ones...

"He's a nice guy as a neighbour. I have other nice neighbours who aren't as good at football.

"I knew him from Southampton - brilliant player. He can play different positions, quick, smart player - very important."

Meanwhile Daniel Sturridge has also caught the eye of the German boss, who is pleased with the England international's flexibility.

"Daniel was involved in three or four goals. Being that flexible for all games is the key. His run for Roberto's first goal....."

Anyone see the Citeh Vs BMG game last night..
Any thoughts on this Dahoud chap we're after, by some reports on Twatter, he didn't pull up any trees..
Then again, away to Citeh, most teams/players will struggle, will watch the remainder of their games in the CL to get a better opinion of the lad.
Was played as a DM or a more Box to Box player, not sure we need more of the latter?

He's box to box - he struggled last night but he showed glimpses. He's so clever and good on the ball - bear in mind he's only 20. And he's got a great engine as wel.

Saw him make one cross field pass which he messed up and went straight to Kolarov and city then went on to score (think was the 3rd).

Admittedly only saw highlights and it was all city so can't judge.

Same was said of Markovic... that went well!!

Will add, that I saw bits of the game, not all.. Like I said, not seen much of the lad before but we don't need people with a good engine in midfield, they need to have a bit of quality too, he was sloppy in possession and didn't stand out, if we're looking for someone young, with a bit of guile and craft and good technically on the ball, then we already have a lad in Brannagan in the U23s! But also, not seen much of the lad, could have been a bad day at the office!

I expect him to play better against Celtic, but that ain't gonna be hard if he's the player we're all told he's made out to be..
Also, I would like to see him make more of a fist of it against Citeh and Barca at home!
