Still 60 odd million there from tv money that can be used or stored as cash on balance sheet.

Id rather we put 20mil to the stand than flush it.

Remember that next summer there will be similar and honestly spending it all well is difficult unless we do get cl.

We can overspend easily but to get 5 really good players in that klopp wants could prove tricky.

If the Jorno's that have an "in" at LFC are to be believed, then Pulisic and Dahoud are the players he "really" wants.
If Pulisic isn't getting game time at Dortmund come Jan, I can see us going in for him then.
Dahoud maybe "worked" on for a deal to be in place come next season.
Those two, a quality LB and maybe Mane MK 2 and we'll have a good team/squad..

Agree, Klopp only splashes the cash if he believes the player can improve us, ObamaYang at Dortmund and Mane for us being an example.

Pulisic is mane for the left side.

Dahoud is gundogan mark ii for klopp.

    Thats the plan.

Not sure what else will be done but i fancy a psg return for sakho and us spending the profits on a new hummels <laugh> its not like klopp never had a dog of a signing at dortmund :bandit:

Agreed, Pulisic, whilst not as quick as Mane (Who is..) the boy is a tricky winger.
Also agree, Dahoud is Gundagan Lite (for now)..
Which manager hasn't made a few ****e signings.. he did at Dortmund and will do so for us as well.
Sakho, he needs to get down and put in some hard graft, kiss some arse if he's to get back into Klopps plans.
When fit, Matip and Lovern are his first choice and given the lack of Europe, he's not going to change the CB pair for the sake of it!

'I can still win the Ballon d'Or'
In an interview with former France, Leeds and Roma midfielder Olivier Dacourt, Balotelli was asked if he still thought about winning the Ballon d'Or.

"Of course. It's not too late," he said. "I think I could have already won it by now, but by working hard in training I could still win it in the next two or three years."

In Sunday's home game, Balotelli was goaded by Marseille's Bafetimbi Gomis as he prepared to take a penalty, but kept his cool to score the opener.

Florian Thauvin, on loan from Newcastle, equalised before ex-Swansea striker Gomis put Marseille in front from the spot.

Balotelli headed home before Wylan Cyprien's long-range winner.

Victory lifted Nice into second in the table, behind leaders Monaco on goal difference.

    <laugh>

It just goes to show how very weak that league is and how ibrahimovic's current season is far more impressive than anything he's done at psg... as for the baloon talk.. thats just hilarious.

That's all well and good but get Can signed to a long deal with a massive buyout clause

Why would you want a buy out clause inserting?

Bit premature. I like Lallana, think if he can get close to double figures for goals this season then would have added what is missing from his game.

However, 4 games into the season is a bit sooner to be rewarding him.

He's done well ever since Klopp arrived. I'm happy for him to be rightly rewarded

He's been decent but wouldn't say he's stood out. He's not gone and won games for us yet.. Not sure how long he's got left on his contract, guess if it's only a year or two then makes sense.

I don't think he is the type of player that will go out and win a game. He's a team player; he links up well with others, creates space, maintains possession even when he's in tricky spots and he works hard throughout which is why Klopp likes him.

Edit; and just masthead that's why Klopp as moved him back into midfield too...

Dont get me wrong I like lallana and have defended him a lot last few years. This season already scored 2, 3 if include England game, so looks hopefully not just a mini bit of form.

Think he he is better in that midfield when we dominate possession. Not got the pace to play wide, you see the difference mane offers with that extra pace. When we have the ball he can pick it up from deep and link up (something Cout might benefit from actually). It's just how he, and the rest of our midfield, cope in those tough physical games as he's not a player to get stuck in.

He had a brief purple patch last year and he's started well this year. Hope he can find some consistency. Still think he's a very good squad player.

Klopp said he was planning of buying Lallana when he was at Dortmund. He knew him for sometime and knows how good he is.
