Whats going on with Barkley? Letting my FF team down and I've been singing his praises saying he should be playing CM for England in the qualifiers. Then goes and has some shockers and gets himself subbed at HT <doh>

Until Monday he'd had a good start to the season, but he was bloody awful in the first half and rightly got the hook.

Maybe the England snub had got to him and he was trying too hard?

I doubt he'll start on Saturday though.

Like I said, not seen much of the lad before but we don't need people with a good engine in midfield, they need to have a bit of quality too, he was sloppy in possession and didn't stand out, if we're looking for someone young, with a bit of guile and craft and good technically on the ball, then we already have a lad in Brannagan in the U23s! But also, not seen much of the lad, could have been a bad day at the office!

I expect him to play better against Celtic, but that ain't gonna be hard if he's the player we're all told he's made out to be..
Also, I would like to see him make more of a fist of it against Citeh and Barca at home!

Agree we need more than just an engine but he has that IMO. Really special talent and he did show his quality at times. He can run with the ball and he can pick a pass.

As with Markovic, he's another young talent so can't expect him to just hit the ground running and most importantly, we need to develop him properly. Much can be said about markovic's attitude (unconfirmed) but he definitely wasn't used the way he should have been.

At least with Klopp, he knows how to develop youngsters and he's patient. Dahoud is very similar to Gundogan in terms of playing style.

Tuesday. I made a whole thread dedicated to my return. I think it got 2 replies.
I went to Pembrokeshire then on to a friend's wedding in some weird place called Caerdydd or something - peopled by weird homunculi that talk funny.
 
i have no idea why i am here, what did i laugh at? who is zingy and why is a draw called a draw?
