Hart comes across really badly in the media...he seems really unlikeable.
Have no idea if is or not but because of it I can't feel any sympathy for him

I would say after 10 years with City and probably earning a bomb,he is set for life and isn't particularly concerned if he wins or loses! If they want to keep overpaying him, more fools they!

It's widely said that journos hate him because he is surly, uncommunicative and condescending with them. Doesn't encourage them to write him up fairly I woud imagine.

Does anyone know why Garth Crooks feels the need to have sly digs at us every time he picks a Spurs player in his often bizarre 'Team of the Week'? He'll be effusively complimentary of every other side and then when it comes to us, there'll always be a backhand thrown in there somewhere. Should he be put in the same category as Murphy and Redknapp - ex players who now hate the club?

This is not an anti-Costa specific point (for a change) but I will use him as an example. Costa's second goal against Swansea was a skillful overhead kick. However, he also seemed very close to kicking the Swans defender in the head. Basically what I don't get about overhead kicks is that when they are executed in the box everyone says how brilliant they are, and if the same thing is done in the middle of the pitch the guy gets a yellow card (maybe a red if he connects!) I know there are few people knowledgeable about the rules of the game here, so I would be very interested to hear their opinion of whether there is any basis in the laws to treat the overhead kick in the box any differently from other dangerous play.

Gary Neville's comments tonight arr mildly infuriating.

He seems to have an outrageous sense of entitlement with regards to coaching jobs. He failed at Valencia, he contributed to multiple England failures. What makes him think he deserves a high profile coaching job having provided very little evidence that he is any good at it.

    Stick to punditry <ok>

He's damn good at punditry. You don't need good players for that

No there isn't. Its another example of refs being given discretion which they apply in a different way for big calls. If the Laws simply said that it is an offence to have your feet above knee level when any player is closer than 1 metre the the problem would go away. The first Arsenal goal on Saturday should have been disallowed too.

And it looked to me that he caught Naughton in the face. Yet another red card he has unfairly avoided.

Damien Commolli (shudders) has given an interview about his previous boss, Daniel Levy. It seems, finally, Commolli's got something right other than Gareth Bale.. :

“He’s obsessed with the desire to move forward with Tottenham. When you see where the club was when he arrived and what he has done, it’s absolutely fantastic.”

“Tottenham are surely the club in Europe that has progressed most on all fronts in fifteen years, and thanks to him.”

I've had issues with Daniel Levy over the years (haven't we all) but taken in the round, he has transformed our fortunes from where we were when Uncle Joe bought us. Maybe, it's time for:

"Levy, Levy, give us a wave"; or

    "Daniel Levy,
    Daniel Levy,
    No one likes him,
    We don't care"

Unfortunately I am not able to share this affection for our chairman as last week he visited the training ground and wasn't wearing a tie. Frankly, I expect a man in such a senior position at a massive football club, to be appropriately dressed when at work.

He was a wearing a non-club tie earlier in the day before you saw him.

Sadly he had to take it off so a sh*t-stirring journo from the Daily Fail could be found
by the Met outside the ground, in what can only be described as the most bizarre case
of being accidentally hung by your own tie they have ever seen,
