You keep saying that. One day you may be right and you can say, "I've been saying that would happen." It's a little like saying we can't keep selling our best players as eventually it won't work...
Oh certainly I have absoultely nothing to back it up it's just a gut feeling I have had for a little while now. I was just wondering how Sf4L could 'guarantee' it. Still no response. It's different to the players thing though as we are actually in a position to judge on that. Whereas the ownership none of us have a scooby and it's just guesswork.
Anything is possible, but there is no evidence that Katharina is even thinking of it. She speaks of her love for the club and her father's happiness for the year he owned Saints. She has backed the club, but not thrown stupid money at it, so that soon we will have paid back debts and be in a good financial position...which is better than many clubs. The only reasons for her to sell Saints is that she doesn't want to bother with it any more (and this is a woman who watches most games) or she needs the money (unlikely, but she has sold other businesses so possible). There are some fans (notably on SaintsWeb) who are very unpleasant about her and who can't wait to fall into the hands of a Russian oligarch or Chinese consortium....all I would say is be careful what you wish for.
Be off on my holibobs from tomorrow, so you will all have to cope somehow without me. What I don't get about the criticism of KL is that they think that she is mysteriously robbing her own business blind and that no other billionaire that bought us would do it for the money.
Are Saints in trouble with money? I always order and pay for tickets over the phone(done this countless times) when on Saturday mr postman posts a card telling me that I need to pay £2 and pick my parcel up from their office....just been to collect parcel and it's my Swansea tickets never had to before.....cheeky buggers.
My Europa tickets arrived without extra charge... which I was surprised at, as I thought they were to be added to season tickets???
I had this happen with my membership receipt! Though they paid for the postage for the actual membership.
I know it's only £2 but to get to the depot from my house whilst the school run was in full flow was a nightmare, if they are to charge now they should say at time of booking so I would pay extra then.
Don't think they would expect you to pay on receipt...any charge would be up front. My guess is a problem with their system...e-mail them to let them know.
It's the principal rather than the cost I agree. It shouldn't happen. Little tip - Ring up and enquire about it and they will put a note on the system to waive your next booking fee That's what they did with me anyway, though I've only bought tickets in person since so I don't know if they 'actually' did it, probably not
