Does anyone remember our partnership with Banc De Binary that started a few weeks ago? Turns out it's ended already, as there was a little bit of controversy around it! "After The Sunday Times raised the issues of the fine and aggrieved British clients, Southampton FC ended its partnership with Banc De Binary on Friday, removing a sponsorship press release from its website."
Good, but a massive error in approving the deal in the first place. It should not have taken the press poking around for the club to recognize that BdB was too toxic to partner with; their legal issues have been ongoing for years now.
This is a good point, if many fans could find out with a quick google then surely due dilligence wasn't done in the first place.
If it's any help, we're now advertising for a "Marketing Manager" ... might well be related. Might not.
Hard to say. I'd have thought partnership agreements would be approved at the board level, to prevent situations where you declare that an internationally-renowned bunch of rip-off artists as kindred spirits before quietly killing the deal a few days later.
