The explosives had apparently already been planted in elevator shafts and in the basement. People in the reception reported hearing explosions coming from the basement levels (of both towers) about 2 minutes before the first plane hit. There wouldn't have been an 'off chance' of a plane hitting if it was orchestrated. Hani Hanjour, the bloke who crashed into the Pentagon, famously couldn't even fly a small private plane and failed numerous times to get his license, yet he managed to fly a huge airliner with the skill of a fighter pilot into a commercial/residential area, avoiding low buildings and other obstacles to score a direct hit. Also, I find it interesting that the 9/11 'conspiracy theory' is the only conspiracy theory that seems mainstream. Others seem to come and go, yet this one has stuck around so often and remains a talking point to this day.
It would have been easier to just have an empty plane, but I just imagine people talking of the second coming, after Aunt Beryl returned from the dead only to be unlucky enough to fly into a tall building. Logistically, it's a non-starter.
Out here in the wild east they do like a good conspiracy theory, at the time someone asked me about the other 6 planes? he claimed a total of 10 planes were hijacked and 6 were shot down before they could crash into something.
The 6 that were shot down are currently being hidden in Area 51, by the shape-shifting aliens, I thought everyone knew that?
That sort of codswallop is a disgrace to the people that died that day. Who would murder thousands, and cover it up with an unparalleled plane attack. Think on.
Don't be a ****. Who would murder thousands and cover it up? A lot of people. Or, more specifically, a few people who don't give a **** about a lot of people and needed a reason to invade Afghanistan, of which there were hundreds of reasons, mostly opium/money related. It's tragic that a lot of people died, it's even more tragic that those responsible had the bollocks to sit at a remembrance service for the dead. You aren't going to guilt trip me on this, or probably anything; if you want to cry P.C., then you're on the wrong ****ing thread my friend. If there are answers out there, legitimate ones, then they aren't going to be found by swallowing the load spurted out by the government. The people who did die are owed the truth, their families are owed the truth and frankly, the rest of the human race is owed an explanation. A man on dialysis who was very good friends with George Bush (look it up) orchestrated the greatest terrorist attack in the history of mankind from a cave in Pakistan who took years to find even though he was sick and riddled with pancreatic cancer and had the most infamous face on Earth. He could seemingly move around at will, sometimes travelling hundreds of miles a day and release videos of threats and messages while seemingly well, despite his rapidly declining health. He was then found in a compound, not really hiding, just in his house and was shot and buried at sea the same day, instead of being hauled back to America to stand trial for his crimes and before anybody else could come in and actually verify his death. So there was no clear video footage, only what we were told. Yeah, I'd totally buy that. If I was a ******.
Sorry, which bit of it was hard to follow? The bit about there being explosions, corroborated by people ACTUALLY there, or the bit about Hanjour being a bad pilot, which, with some research, you'll also find to be true. Christ, instead of panning me, actually read up on it.
If you're saying it was a plan to damage the buildings orchestrated by the Americans, their track record and the fact it succeeded would seem to rule them out.
I really cant accept most of the theory around 9/11, it is way too outlandish and ill thought out. Do I think we know the full truth, no. Do I think it was a terrorist attack, yes. Is it conceivable that the cabin crew and flight staff of 3 commercial airliners could be coerced into a kamikaze mission to fly planes loaded with dead bodies into buildings containing thousands of people, I doubt it. Remote controlled planes, technically possible I suppose. Why did the passengers (who may or may not have been alive on the planes) make phone calls to family and friends saying they had been highjacked? The collapse of the towers. I have read expert analysis of this stating that aviation fuel doesn't burn hot enough to weaken the steel in the structures. They fail to take into account the hundreds of tons of other material in the buildings that was capable of adding to the fire. They also chose to ignore the flue effect of the lift shafts (drawing air/oxygen in) which would act very much like bellows in a forge. Place a length of steel in the coke fire of a forge and it will get hot, not much else will happen, turn the bellows on (force air/oxygen through it) and the steel will reach such temperatures that it becomes easy to bend and twist by hand. Explosions heard before the collapse? Maybe the lower floors collapsing internally can account for this or the fact that there was gas mains into the buildings and plenty of other explosive stuff such as compressors and water pumps, electricity substations and distribution boards. Bin Laden, yep, probably dead long before he was allegedly found. He was used as a bogyman to fuel the country's (maybe worlds) need for revenge after the attack. As a final aside, you don't have to be a good pilot to crash a plane, as long as you can guide it the finer parts of flying are irrelevant.
There's a report into the involvement of the Saudi royal family and whether or not they funded al-Qaeda. They probably did, the religious ideology of al-Qaeda, and the Taliban and ISIS for that matter, is Salafism. Salafism, or Wahhabism as some like to call it, is the branch of Sunni Islam dominant within Saudi Arabia and the Saudi state funds madrasas all across the world. Qatar, another Gulf state, is well known for financially supporting ISIS. All of the 9/11 hijackers were Salafi Sunnis and the majority were Saudi citizens. The Bin Laden family had and still continues to have very close relations with the House of Saud. Whether or not the US government orchestrated the attack themselves or in cohorts with others is another theory. One thing is for certain though, they supported and armed the mujahideen in Afghanistan when the Soviets invaded in 1979 to counteract the spread of Soviet influence in the region; that was particularly important for them as the Iranians had just overthrown the pro-Western Shah and established an anti-Western theocracy. Bin Laden fought for the mujahideen in Afghanistan as a foreign soldier as he was a Saudi citizen. The theory that the US orchestrated it themselves as a false flag to garner support for a War on Terror largely rests on the belief the US intended to protect its geopolitical interests in the Middle East. Personally, I think the Saudis definitely had something to do with it but I'm sceptical of the other theories regarding planned demolition.
Just watched a brilliant program on CNN ("9/11: Fifteen Years Later") about the firefighters at the September 11 "event" in NYC in 2001. Never-seen-before footage filmed mainly inside the Towers, before, during, and after their fall. Truly gob-smacking, emotional, vile yet strangely joyous scenes, I can't right now find better words to describe it. All I can say is, if you can find it, watch it. Goodnight. P.S. They showed the demise of Building 7 (I apologize for being late in understanding your 'name'), but said nothing about it. I'm, for once, bemused.
Spot on. Most of the replies and counter arguments on here have been great but that from Mr Shoes is naive in the extreme. He is an intelligent man but I couldn't believe what I was reading. Exactly the type of comment I would expect from the shill Bill O'Reilly or the watered down UK version Piers Morgan.
