It's looking more and more likely that Joe Cole will head to QPR on a season long loan, despite him saying he'd like to stay at Liverpool.

I really can't see what the point is with this signing. Attacking midfield wise I think we already look pretty good

Huggy I am of the opinion that our team is being built under severe restrictions by NW and he has done superb so far ... We are the underdogs and have everything to prove NW will get the best out of a great player if he comes ... we have strengthened our squad because i believe NW knows inside we are good enough not only to survive but survive will a lot to spare ... its superb management in fact ... he has brought us here and players believe in him as i do ... He is our JERRY MAGUIRE

Oh I don't doubt he is a classy player, I am just wondering where we would play him and who he would replace in the attacking midfielder role. With the signing of DJ now I can't help but feel we could strengthen somewhere else.

Take your point, but we are going to need goals, & Cole could score them. As to where we would play him, I guess that depends on who we are up against.
Personally, I don't think Tarbs will be with us beyond January, so there's a position for him there. Faurlin would be the first name on my team sheet each week, so that position should be taken. Also, it's good to have competition, as long as you don't do it on Man. City proportions!

Was a classy player. Agree with others that any further additions should be in other areas.

We also need cover for injuries, suspensions and good old rotation. I agree that we need better at the back, but I hope that maybe a couple of loan signings will sort that out. Warnock hasn't let us down yet. He got in Walker when he was needed, and ditto Routledge.

That's what I think. He has had a terrible time for the last year at Liverpool and probably another year before that due to injuries etc. If there is things going on behind the scenes at the club and NW can get a couple of defenders aswell as this signing then all is good.

I really hope we get Joe Cole, he can play down either wing or as a playmaker. Its great to have all these attacking options. Surely now we can get rid of players surpluss to requirments to free up the wage bill? Who would they be for you?

I remember Tommy Langley, i think he tied his laces together, i'd rather watch Joe Cole than him. Does Joe Cole wear slip on's then?

He does seem to have undergone a conversion over the past 18 months. Seems you can teach an old dog new tricks! (Cue Denis Waterman, writing the theme tune, singing the theme tune ...)
