That p*ssed me off from the start. Saying in a Press conference just before. "A draw would be a good result" is not what I (or most fans) want to hear from a new manager. Should always state "We will set up and go out to win" No matter who the opponent, let alone a team who we would be favorites against.
I think he will turn it around. You could see before the game and on the sidelines that he was very nervous, and had obviously dreamt and work for that moment all his career. What you don't want is that coming across to the Players, and effect how they set out on the pitch. It seemed to show in that game. I hope now that big debut is over, and he's had the experience. Hopefully we will start seeing an influence.
As a starting statement, He's shown no leadership, confidence, or positivity. With no sign of a new style, selection or formation that lead to another depressing performance. Not an ideal way to introduce yourself to the world as England Manager.
