I am still convinced as with most owners from the west, there is a lot of talk and not much action. And the yanks want a stadium expansion.....mmmmmmmm....

Strange how Bournemouth managed to do it, with only a stadium size of 13000. Lets also not forget we got rid of our 2 highest wage earners and possible 3 with Ash plus Tabanou and Emnes I am sure some others have been taken of the wage bill as well. I don't go with this completely , there is some credence in it in that we cant go mad, but i would guarantee our wage bill has gone down from last season. So for me there was room to bring more players in, the reason is they don't want to spend the money.Perhaps people who criticise our transfer policy should read this article. Also if we increase the stadium capacity and get more people in we will increase our in stadium and off stadium income which is a necessity to be more active in the transfer market.

IMO we've been massively conned by the American investors or should I say asset strippers. No investment had been made what so ever. In thier first window they have made a whopping 11 million in transfers as well as ship out all of our high earners. On top of that you could also include the money for the TV rights. I can't express how angry I am with all the bullshit we've been told.

You have to wonder don't you, first transfer window since they took over. All that huff and puff when they took over in their first interview and what happens a nice little profit for them. Where as some think the squad is good, I think we are a lot weaker than last, My whole seasons hopes rest on Baston getting some goals. Weaker at the back, about the same in midfield although I cant help but thinking now Fer has his contract his performances will go backwards. We look tidy out wide, but again with no strengthening. I cant get away from it but we have just opened up our whole defence with the sale of Ash and not adequately replacing him, we look like conceding a goal everytime a side attacks. I would start Mawson next game as he can not possibly be worse than Amat and Fernandez. So thanks to the Yanks we have a great season in front of us probably permanently in the bottom 3. In our first 3 games I can not help think we just look like Aston Villa of last year. Not bad players, but no shape, no spirit, no leadership either on the pitch or off the pitch. I have no doubt the same fate will be with us as was with them last year. We are a shambles.
I don't care whether people think I am being negative, that's the way I feel after seeing how bad we have been in our first 3 games and our dealings in the transfer window, there was not even a glimpse of anything positive.

Paying off previous managers (loose term for our last one ) his mistake but I wonder if he took a reduction from his recent windfall to counteract the shortfallAccording to Hj we made a significant loss last season. How did we manage that without spending anything.

Theres a waiting list for STs.What's the point expanding the stadium to play in the championship? There'll be at least 10,000 empty seats every week.

Could be a number of reasons including if they paid Ayew a signing on fee, even if the cash payment was spread over the life of his contract, it is possible that the full amount was charged to the P&L account.According to Hj we made a significant loss last season.
