He's another one of these non-scoring strikers. I remember Everton fans were so glad to get rid of him.

Defend with everyone back.
That's one of my pet hates and one which SB insisted on.
Always leave a striker on the half way at corners and they have to drop two back.

I don't think Nixon (or any other source) had suggested it is a 'socks off now!' signing - just that it's a foreign striker.

More likely to be of the standard of a Mauro Zarate or Samaras than anything great I fear.

Not got time to read a lot of comments but we still need another attacking midfielder,a central defender and somebody like Bony up front to partner Hernandez who despite an eye for goal,still lacks a physical presence for me and is totally crap in the air.
 
Of the names mentioned so far, Javier Hernandez would be the ideal signing, but having scored at 2 in 3 for Leverkusen last year I sadly think it unlikely it'll be him, can't see why they'd let him go

Bony just went to Stoke, it isn't him.
