That's true, but he also maintained in the lead up that he was sure Hernandez was going to go. While he can't predict that Hernandez would reject personal terms, there was still a gap between the facts he had and the assumptions he was making.

I was watching U21 match and QPR were getting a lot of players in the penalty area at a corner so Tony Pennock got a few of our players to stand on the half way line and their players ran back from the penalty area to the half way line.
 
Saw we have been linked with Anichebe again, it's like Groundhog Day with that one- not fussed about him but we need players so beggars probably can't be choosers
