Seen that Naismith one coming a mile off, that's cheap considering they forked out £10m for him in January, did they not? £1m is a joke for that keeper.
I'd take Naismith for 4m like. Surprised they didn't bump the price up with the piss take bid for the keeper.
Charlie Wyett @CharlieWyett 6m6 minutes ago Norwich have turned down £1m bid from Sunderland for John Ruddy. David Moyes will also have to pay £4m for Steven Naismith Taking the piss we are by offering £1m for Ruddy. Happy enough with Naismith.
Does anyone actually know anything about how good he is? It is a lot of money and I'm not seeing anyone raving about him. All I know is he looks like a bit of a tit and he's the oldest looking 22 year old I've ever seen.
Norwich fans are saying he's quite poor and hasn't been the same since his injuries. I believe he's only a back up keeper, for them now.
Craig Hope: Sunderland's frustrations at senior level are impacting on a promising group of youngsters who are hoping to get out on loan before tonight's deadline. Several of the team who finished 2nd in the Under-21 league last season are wanted by Football League clubs and believe they would benefit from a season in the professional ranks. However, David Moyes cannot sanction these moves given how short he is and that could mean another year on the fringes and in the Under-23s for what are a talented crop of academy graduates. Defender Tommy Robson is one such player and he is wanted by Barnsley. David Moyes sticking to what he knows with talks now opened over a deal for Norwich striker Steven Naismith, who he signed for Everton from Rangers in 2012.
No but I've checked the stats. M'Villa's PL stats stomp all over his French league stat. All expect for passing. Get this, over 3000 minutes played last season with 87% passing success That's a ****ing exceptional average. He's also got soggy Macy D fries for a hair cut and his face looks like it's beginning to slowly implode
