Really?? Wow. Really? If he returns to the form he was in before his injury - and he just scored on his return I think - JR is better for me. He also has a better top flight scoring record than Abel, AH can score 20 in Serie B or the Championship but hasn't scored double figures in a top flight - Jay got a dozen the season before he was injured. Jmo of course.

That's interesting, how many sides in the league, particularly the lower half, play with 2 strikers? I can only think of Burnley, Watford and Middlesbrough. Bournemouth, Palace, Sunderland, Swansea, West Brom, Arsenal and us all play with one.
He had one good season in the Premier League and then missed a season and then scored none in 12 games the season after. That's not as encouraging as Abel who got a lot of goals in the Championship and given the type of goals he got he can get a lot again if he gets the chances. I think it depends on the chances we create.

I think it's horses for courses. A front 3 looked very effective against Swansea and Leicester, while I think a front two would have done better against United, which is why we're getting Keane in I suspect.
