Chelsea surely don't put players in the shop window. They're too big for that. Moses playing at the weekend means he's going nowhere.

Plenty of players play and then make moves, that's hardly a measure of whether somebody is about to move or not.

It will be a minor miracle if we can remain competitive until January with only four additions.

Not really Syd. We only need a couple of injuries and we'll be back to where we are now. Not being able to rest players is the cause of injuries in some cases

Well they're doing medicals at the moment. I would think if Marshall has agreed personal terms, we should announce him as soon as possible to encourage other signings.

Would really go for phil jones/fosu mensah who add alot of utility fosu mensah can cover all the back four positions as well as central mid so would be high on my list

Then it comes down to what do we need most somebody in the wide areas or a striker?
Adomah at boro has been dropped from the squad for not signing a contract

I was just reading through and was going to put this Hutch.. He was going to Newcastle, hence not signing, but they bought a full back yesterday so I don't know if thats still on. If he's out of contract shortly... free agent!!!?

Assombolanga Konate Kodija - any 1- only gives us poss 3 forwards
Marshall - gives us 3 GK's
Leaves us needing 2 flank players- one right/one left= 6 signings.

Hull want Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason in £8million transfer deadline beating deal

Hull City are hoping to complete a £8m beat-the-deadline deal for Tottenhammidfielder Ryan Mason.

Mason has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane but there was doubt as to whether Spurs would let him go.

But fresh talks have taken place and Mason wants more regular game time so it could be back on.

I'd say he would for £10m. Some consistency issues with Hendrick seem to be the talk of the DCFC message board. They spunked £8m on Vydra so they probably need some more funds.

If MP doesn't make it to Xmas and Martin O'neil comes in at least we should see the best of JH.

I know that David Marshall is an outstanding keeper, but I posted on the Cardiff Fans Forum on Facebook to ask how they regard him. And this is some of the responses. Seems to be absolutely adored there and held in very high regards.

We immediately have Livermore, Maguire and Davies, with Dawson on the way back...that should cover centre half.
Midfield, with 2 additions, gives us Clucas, Huddlestone, Meyler +2 + Livermore if needed
The wide players I put in could either be full backs or forwards, but essential we have at least 1 for each flank.
Most desperate for a striker, and someone on the right flank, assuming Henriksen and Marshall sign
