Can't see us buying both Hendrick and Mason, it will be one or the other. Agree with OLM if we only have 4 coming in, one of which is a goalkeeper, we will have to be very lucky with injuries and suspensions to reach January without a problem.
I think there will be more than 4. Marshall, Mason, Henricksen, Keane, Kodjia all linked. Would guess a defender would also be targeted. Agree that 4 isn't enough.
Elmo was knackered at RB by the end on Saturday, that's why he was beaten so easily by Rooney for the goal. We need a RB, a LW/RW, a LB, a ST and a couple of CMs. Looks fairly likely that the only players we'll get in are CMs and a GK. Hendrick is a good player and Henriksen looks like an exciting prospect, Mason would also be an improvement on what we have. I'd definitely be after Brady as he would cover both the LB spot and the LW, could even play up front if needed. That still would leave us needing another striker and RB. Signing four players isn't going to be enough.
Maybe it's four signings and two loans? I can't believe we won't be taking advantage of the two loan spots we have available.
I would say on this occasion that Burnsy is wrong about the predicted number of signings we will bring in. He also added that caveat to cover his information if it's wrong. My 'prediction' is 6.
Henrikson has all the attributes required to joint the greats of this club such as Davis, Ashby and Eliot. Hendricks is borderline. Mason no chance.
We've lost 4 players, 1 of which, Jaraldo Martin was not a regular first team player, plus 2 loans from Arsenal, total 6. So to sign 4 players wouldn't be an issue for me, I'd rather have quality over quantity, and when all said and done we'll be playing fewer league matchs this season. The problem is the long term injuries. Daws would normally start, as would Odubajo, and Greegsy. Alex wouldn't So 4 plus a loan signing, total 5, would just about be okay providing the injury list doesn't get worse, and we don't lose anybody in this window. We'd only be 1 worse off in overall numbers and I can't see the club making permanent signings to cover injuries.

Aside from the fact that Moses played and scored for Chelsea yesterday making his availability highly unlikely.
Boro have agreed a season long loan for Calum Chambers which suggests that Harry isn't going anywhere!
Interested to know what you think the 6 would be bigelow Id take Marshall gk Fosu mensah loan rb, lb, cb, cm Mason cm Henriksen am Knockhaert rw/lw A striker ings/austin on loan I reckon theyl be a suprise or two along the way
Would be stupid not to, Arsenal and Chelsea always seem to loan out at least 100 players a season between them.
Chelsea surely don't put players in the shop window. They're too big for that. Moses playing at the weekend means he's going nowhere.
