I usually take on small accumulators rather than singles. If you take a massive accumlulator you have pretty much no chance of winning, but if you do, for example what I've done for the first day - to win; Man Utd, Chelsea, Birmingham - then you get pretty decent odds well worth a fiver punt. My biggest advice to any gambler is to NEVER bet on knockout football, unless there's a 'to progress' option. Last season I got screwed by sky, I put a 5-match accuulator on and got each one right, I should have won about £50 but as one match was not won in the first 90 minutes I didn't get my winnings. Anyway, my biggest win over £300 on the CL final, bet on 3-1 Barca with both Rooney and Messi to score, a good day I don't think I've even heard of more than about 5 times in the Europa League tonight so I'm afraid I'm drawing a blank there

If only i had #200 to burn on a single game! I just throw a few quid on an accumulater each week and the odd special, in game betting is always fun too. One of my best returns was 2 seasons ago arsenal were 2-0 up at half time against braga or something in champs league, so i stuck 3quid on a 7-0 final result and got 70something back. Happy days! Never very successful betting with city though
i made 170 when we beat arsenal off an £8 bet us to win, although my mate won 240 off a £2 bet for barca to win and pedro to score, bastard!
I never bet on city. Most of the time I bet online in-play whilst watching a game, sometimes adds to the enjoyment and you do find yourself winning quite a bit from time to time. Whenever I do bet it's always only for a few quid at a time, probably never bet more than £20 at a time and even that much would be rare.

I used to do football accumulators.14 or fifteen teamers . About ten years ago,i got 14 from 15 correct. It was only a pound stake,but being so close to winning 12 grand i was gutted ! It felt like id lost that much of my own money ! Can't remember who they were playing but Liverpool drew 1-1 with some lowly team to ruin my bet ! It's not like the scouser's to rob anyone is it ? Biggest loss is about £15 Febbos, although it's happened a few times :/ I've still won a lot more than I've lost anyway, so I'm happy enough with that. £300 on poker? No chance, I started playing, lost about £50, won it back to break even and then decided not to go on it again.
I had a nice win on Fryatt to get a hatrick at Scunny would have won loads if we just scored one less. Ive got a mate who will only bet against City so that if his bet doesnt come in hes more than happy cos it means City have done well. I can just never bring myself to bet against us

Trick with gambling on football is just to bet on what you feel really strongly about and nothing else. I occasionally see the odd game and I'm certain what the result will be, these are the ones to bet on. If it's some random Europa team there's no point, and when people have someone like Yeovil in their accumulators and then complain when they lose it's their own ****ing fault!

Just play poker these days, sports betting drives me mental especially golf, sucks me in every time with huge odds though I've won a bit on Tiger Woods a few times as he tends to get written off then bounce back.
I rarely bet on footie, if I do it's at the ground at either City or England games, I can't remember ever winning. I've done better at York and Beverley races, I'm usually a couple of hundred quid up at the end of each meeting, though I always seem to spend it on the night out afterwards. I generally do better at the Casino's, I won £3500 at one sitting in Vegas, though I lost about £1000 the next time I went. I once lost a grand in an hour in a casino in Macau(high bet tables only), I was down to my last fiver, but my last fiver won and I kept winning until I'd got the whole grand back. Unfortunately, while I was on the table, two of my staff were at the cocktail bar and they'd run up a £300 bar bill, so I still ended up down.
biggest win - Bobby Zamora FGS for West Ham against Arsenal - £185 off £10. My Bet for Friday is - City to win both Fryatt and Koren to score. Dont know the odds but its worth a cheeky fiver right?
