I think we've all had a bit of a rant in our own different way :emoticon-0105-wink:. Some of the comments on here have been a bit OTT so God knows what SW or twatter have been like.

Yeah fair enough <laugh>

I had a brief look at the echo last night n that was bad enough for me... not even gonna look at SW. Though I'm on nights this week so might do it then to pass the time.

There are a lot of numpties out there. But there are also fans who are rational and yet still - believe it or not - have criticisms of the club they support. To immediately mock any supporter who mentions any of these criticisms is quite frankly just annoying. Until Saints win a bloody trophy, I will be there to criticise them where and when I see fit.

Fair enough but 1 & 2 espescially it seems like exaggerating it just ignores what some people post as reasonable opinions.
Humour often involves exaggeration based on truths. Fans are always proposing purchases based on seeing someone once or on youtube. We want new players with increasing desperation as the window nears its end. We want these new players without any consideration of how it will be financed....especially as we want to hold onto all our players at the same time. We are delighted with buying a player at our highest price yet....but are strangely also certain we have paid too much. We want, we want, we want.....

As far as trophies are concerned once upon a time we were called the nearly men for a few seasons. Simply because we got to the final stages of various competitions but either fell in the semi stage or in the final itself.
As for the fans criticism.............Surely that is what fans are all about? Praising or criticising thats what we do best.........No matter how well a team plays no matter how big a win someone somewhere will say we should have scored more, or someone should have scored that didn't or of course our favourite the Ref was crap.........

If there is no criticism then it means no-one cares because nothing is ever perfect enough that no-one criticises...........even some of those perfect 10s.

Maybe Jay Rod is staying as an incoming transfer has collapsed? Just saying. :emoticon-0127-lipss
Though I'd like to think that the club and Puel saw the reaction of the players when Jay Rod scored. Very popular member of the squad, and I got the impression that they would have been dissapointed if he was to leave? Think VVD mentioned it in his Solent interview. I also noticed Fonte reaction when J Rod scored.
Think he will have plenty of opportunities to play this season.

We were linked to Castaignos weren't we? And Bas Dost? Both are joining Sporting Lisbon.

Also Slimani is going to West brom for €30m

In general, any article suggesting that a bid will be made 'in the coming days' at this juncture is false; a bid has either already been made or won't be made. With the possible exception of loan deals, nothing will be completed that hasn't already been initiated.

Good. I wanted no part of either Castaignos or Dost.
